The WR-1 is an assignable, dual potentiometer remote volume control. Each volume control is connected to a euroblock jack terminal on the WR-1 circuit board, which in turn must be wired to the back panel euroblock connector labeled "0 - 5 Volt Remote Level Control", available on many Ashly amplifier and DSP products. By connecting a volume control to a specific pin, the WR-1 can control the level of the associated input or output channel. For some controlled products, it is possible to assign any combination of input and/or output channels to any remote level control pin, using Protea NE Software. The level control is "attenuate only" meaning that the maximum setting of the control potentiometer (fully clockwise) results in 0 dB gain of the controlled channel.
